Professor Chun Mi-Rim and Professor Jung Hoon won the Minister of Science and ICT Award.

Professor Chun Mi-Rim and Jung Hoon of the Department of Business Administration won the Ministry of Science and ICT Award for their contribution to the Telecommunication accounting system.


Professor Chun has begun to participate in the verification of business reports by telecommunication businesses, calculation of universal service losses, and research on improving the accounting system for broadcasting businesses in 2008.


In addition, she has been a member of the 'Regulatory Accounting Committee' the Korea Accounting Association's since July 2017 increasing social interest in regulatory systems, telecommunication accounting and policies, and she has contributed to development telecommunication accounting to publish several research papers on telecommunications policy and system.


Professor Jung Hoon worked for Society Development Institute Telecommunication & spectrum research division and Broadcasting Policy research division at Korea Information Society Development Institute from December 2002 to February 2018.


He has contributed there to conducting research on the cost of telecommunication services and accounting systems. Especially, based on his long experience in KISDI, he worked as an expert of communication regulation within the accounting committee.

Professor Jung Hoon also published paper "The Effect of IFRS Adoption on Telecommunications Operators' Regulatory Reporting" in the Journal of the Korea Accounting Association in 2018. he worked as an advisor to the Ministry of Science and ICT, KISDI, KCA, ETRI. ETRI.


He also contributed to the operation and development of the association as a director of the Korea association for Accounting Policy in 2020
