Cheongju University GTEP "2023, 3rd Chungcheongbuk-do Industrial, Academic, Research, and Government Innovation Awards" won the Cheongju Award

On the 2nd November, the "Chungcheongbuk-do Industry, Academia, Research, and Government Innovation Awards" was held at the CJB Media Center. This is an award for people and organizations of merit who have contributed to network construction and regional innovation.
GTEP is Global Trade Experts Incubating Program in which 20 universities are participating as of 2022. Each university participating in the GTEP project has discovered industry-academia partners, focusing on domestic and export-initiated companies, and supports the export of the companies through the practice of trainees.
GTEP deals with the globalization of small and medium-sized enterprises for the creation of export and sustainable growth as a key task. In addition, it aims to foster experts fluent in each overseas market in order to expand the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises into overseas markets. To this end, the GTEP project aims to cultivate customized youth trade experts for each specialized region through more than 480 hours of education and practice for participating students.
GTEP project group began in 2021 and strengthened students' global business trade job competencies by providing support for small and medium-sized enterprises' export. The GTEP project group received a commendation from the Cheongju awards in the field of human resource training as it was recognized for its contribution to field training, industry-academic activities, and employment through industry-academia cooperation.
The head of the GTEP project is professor Lee Jae-young, in the Department of Trade, and he said, "I am glad that the passion and hard work of students participating in GTEP are recognized. In the future, Cheongju University's GTEP Business Group will do its best to help the university play a role in driving regional growth. “
As students from various departments are actively participating, it is expected that future global trade expert talents in CJU-GTEP will grow with better results. |
