Cheongju Musimcheon Stream Cherry Blossom Festival, It ended successfully.

In the first week of April, Musimcheon Stream, which crosses the city center of Cheongju, was crowded with spring visitors to see the cherry trees. The Musimcheon Stream was filled with not only Cheongju residents but also others who came all the way to see the cherry trees of Musimcheon Stream. According to the city of Cheongju, about 400,000 springers visited, and despite the large crowd, it was announced that there were no safety accidents.




A person who came to Cheongju from Icheon, to enjoy the spring scenery to see Musimcheon Stream said, “I have been visiting Cheongju every year since the year before last to coincide with the cherry blossom blooming season, and this year it seems to be the most crowded and especially beautiful. Yesterday, Suam Valley behind Cheongju University I went to the cafe street and the cherry trees were in full bloom there too. It’s great for Cheongju University students”. He expressed satisfaction with visiting Cheongju to see the cherry blossoms.

"Mushincheon stream is close to Cheongju University, so I often take a walk," said Jang Eun-seo, a department of social welfare at our university, who met on the cherry blossom road in Musimcheon Stream. It's better to visit late at night or early in the morning because there are so many people during the cherry blossom season. "I'm graduating soon, so it's the last cherry blossom road in Musimcheon Stream, and I think I'll come when I think of it sometimes even after graduation," he said, expressing regret over the last cherry blossom of this year.

Our university students not only personally visit the Musimcheon cherry trees, but also socialize under the cherry trees in many departments and clubs belonging to our university, and the Triangle, a member of our university's central club, performed street performances in a large crowd.

Senior student Kim Min-jung of the Department of English Literature, who is the vice president of Triangle, said,

"It was the first street performance of the Triangle this year, and I was half-anticipated and half-worried because there were many new members. However, everyone prepared hard, and I think it was a very meaningful and successful street performance because we could perform in front of a large audience on a nice day. Many students from Cheongju University also attended the street performance, so I want to become a Triangle that will work hard to prepare, promote, and develop future performances."

Just as we cannot accurately predict even the cherry blossom season, our lives are full of unpredictable things. May it be a spring day when we take a break by leaving our bodies in the wind like a flying cherry blossom leaf. The youth of our University students, who wear department jumpers and enjoy cherry blossom festivals despite the large crowds, shone more than anyone else.
