The International Food and Drink Event (IFE), hosted by the Montgomery Group, is the largest food and beverage exhibition in the UK. The IFE hosted participants from 57 countries last year and is recognized as a long-established exhibition that began in 1979.
Ahn Ki-hwan (a senior in the Intellectual Department) participated in the IFE exhibition. Ahn Ki-hwan said, "I participated in the overseas fair for the first time, and I think it's a relief that it ended well, as I was worried," adding, "I was able to calmly accomplish what I prepared without being nervous, and I gained confidence in overseas fair activities."
Professor Lee Jae-young (Trade Department), who is in charge of the GTEP project team at Cheongju University, said, "We are preparing to participate in the Hong Kong Gift & Premium Fair and FHA-Food & Beverage in April." At the same time, he said we would enhance the global mindset of students participating in GTEP and support domestic companies' overseas expansion so that they can gain various experiences overseas.
The GTEP (Global Trade Expert Incubating Program) project is a regional specialized youth trade expert training project, and Cheongju University celebrated its 17th anniversary this year. It is striving to improve students' global business capabilities.
