Establishment of ‘Aeronautics Technology Education Center’

The 'Aeronautical Technology Education Center' will be established under the jurisdiction of our university. Our university plans to establish an aviation technology education center under the jurisdiction of a university that has been recognized as a specialized educational institution designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to enable the acquisition of an aviation mechanic.

Accordingly, our university will be designated as a specialized educational institution from next year after writing up a plan and conducting on-site evaluation in November. The policy will be able to esure the acquisition of engineering knowledge in the major of aircraft engineering and the acquisition of a head of an aviation mechanics at the same time.

Our university plans to invest additional money to reinforce the aircraft maintenance practice training environment (containers, airplanes, engines, etc.) for major of aeronautical and mechanical engineering.

In addition, our university employs experts with practical aviation maintenance experience (including a license), reorganizes aircraft maintenance field curriculum for major of aeronautical and mechanical engineering and designs curriculum linked to the Aviation Technology Training Institute.

Tae-hyung Kim, a PD majoring of aeronautical and mechanical engineering said, “The Aviation Technology Education Center attached to our university is established, it will not only be able to acquire a license but also train the excellent aviation maintenance personnel needed in the field. Our university operates various aviation majors such as Aeronautical Science & Flight Operation, Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Service, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. so, it is highly likely to develop in connection with it.”
