The Department of Biopharmaceutical sciences is located on Osong Campus, one of the three campuses of our university. The Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences was established in 1989 and has achieved various results in the fields of biotechnology and biomedical field so far. And in 2015, the campus moved to Osong, where was designated as a bio-industrial complex and many bio-related companies are located.

Osong Campus has several laboratories such as industry-academia convergence R&D laboratories, genetic engineering laboratories, molecular biology laboratories, biochemistry laboratories, and separation analysis laboratories. Undergraduate researchers and graduate students of our university and their advisors are actively conducting research.

Government agencies such as the MFDS, the KDCA, and the KBIO HEALTH, and the companies of various scale are located in Osong. Therefore, it is a very suitable environment and has a lot of active projects and research at our university related to the bio-industry. In addition, as many companies and industry-academic infrastructures have been established, our university is constantly conducting talent developement programs based on various research facilities in Osong.

Especially, the Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences has recently provided undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities such as field training and internship programs at companies located in Osong through industry-academic cooperation projects such as Bio-Convergence Technology Professional Workforce Development Program, allowing students to build up various practical experiences.

In this way, through our university's Osong Campus, students are efficiently accumulating practical experience to enter into bio-convergence companies and pharmaceutical companies. It is expected that opportunities to utilize specialized knowledge in connection with various companies and institutions of Osong will continue to be created in the future.
