Who is the winner in the sports competition of the College of Humanities and society?

On May 21, 2024, the Students Association ‘Film’ of the College of Humanities and Society hosted a sports competition at our school's grand stadium. Here, the Department of Advertising, the Department of Newspapers and Broadcasting, the Department of Literature Information, the Department of English Literature, the Department of Law, the Department of Police Administration, and the Department of Intellectual Studies participated. The opening ceremony was attended by not only the deputy director of the College of Humanities and Society, but also the department heads from each department.

In the soccer section, the Law department defeated the Newspaper and Broadcasting department 3:1 in the final. The Law department showed outstanding skills to become the winning candidates, the Intellectual department and the Police Administration department.

The Department of Advertising won in foot baseball and dodgeball. In addition, they showed outstanding skills in various parts, such as relay-running, basketball, and tug-of-war, and won the overall title by earning support points after a violent battle with the Police Administration department. Following the Department of Advertising and the Department of Police Administration was the second place, Last year's winning department, the intellectual department, came in third.

In this sports competition, thanks to the accurate progress of the Humanities and Society Student Association 'Film', we were able to finish the sports competition safely without a classmate who was seriously injured. Not only the classmates who participated as athletes in the at the sports competition, but also the classmates who were not athletes gave passionate support.

Park Young-hoo, a second grade Department of Literature Information, said “During the COVID-19 period, I couldn't go to school and returned to school after military, but I had difficulty getting close to my classmates at school. However, through this sports competition, it was an opportunity to spend meaningful time with my classmates from the same department and to get close through participation in the sports competition.”
