Cheongju University's 53rd student council (Chairman Kim Jong-woo) is drawing attention by donating 2.7 million won collected through the "Cheng Dae In" Donation Campaign to overcome Covid-19 to the Armed Forces Daegu Hospital on the 1st.
In this fund-raising campaign, students and staff members raised funds from the 6th to the 30th of last month. And the donation reached Daegu Military Hospital in Daegu, asking them to use it for protection and food support for medical staff in connection with Covid-19.
Kim Jung-woo, President of Cheongju University Student Council, said, “We have begun fund-raising with the hope of helping the medical staff at the military Daegu Hospital who are struggling to prevent Corona virus from dispersing. And "we expect all Koreans to follow the government's policy, such as maintaining social distance, and that the virus will be eliminated as soon as possible," he said.
On the other hand, the student council at Cheongju University finds it difficult for students to visit the campus due to remote lectures.
Therefore, various events such as a message of support for acrostic poems, a major cheering challenge and a challenge to overcome are being held to help the difficulties of nearby commercial districts.
WHO delivered a message of support along with snacks for Chinese students living in isolation at their dormitory on last 13th.
