< Cheongju University, Non-face-to-face distance classes for 2 weeks after the start of class >
Cheongju University (University President Cha Chun-soo) announced on the 3rd that it will hold remote classes for two weeks after the opening day of the first semester of the 2020 school year, in the face of mounting anxiety due to the spread of Covid 19. Cheongju University, which originally delayed the two-week course from March 2 to 16, conducted remote classes without attending school for two weeks after school (March 16-27), blocking students' contact in the classroom for up to one month. Cheongju University can study all classes anywhere on the mobile through the campus cyber lecture system (EDELWEIS). Also, you can record and review the lessons you have taken. Accordingly, Cheongju University uses existing lecture online content for over 2,000 courses, or individual lecturers use online recording programs to create their own lectures, shoot lectures using on-campus classrooms and studios, and conduct real-time video lectures. In fact, Cheongju University has already secured the necessary programs for remote classes, and it is expected that high-quality classes will be conducted with the active interest and participation of professors. Cheongju University students also held a round-table conference with student representatives to discuss the various ways to improve the quality of distance lectures. On the other hand, Cheongju University decided to postpone the dormitory, which was scheduled to be admitted on the 14th to 15th, for 28 weeks to the 28th to 29th. An official from Cheongju University said, “We plan to do our best to stop the spread of Corona virus through remote lectures that are non-face-to-face classes for two weeks after the start of class. |
