Our University Holds a Club Recruitment event at the Start of the Spring Semester

As the second semester of the 2025 academic year drew to a close and the cold winter receded, spring arrived on campus. As March began, the central library square was filled with students’ bright smiles and lively energy. On March 17, the 2026 academic year central club recruitment event took place, bringing even more vibrancy to the campus.
The central club recruitment event introduced a wide range of club activities to both new and returning students, allowing them to explore their interests and discover new opportunities. Through this event, students were encouraged to take part in various experiences that can enrich their campus life and help them engage more actively in university life. At the recruitment event, a total of 32 central clubs from various fields set up recruitment booths, including the university's basketball club Dunk, dance club Able, and volunteer club Saemaul. In addition, student media organizations, ROTC, and "청연" the university's promotional ambassadors, also participated in the event and promoted their activities.

At the club recruitment event, busking performances took place alongside the club booths, adding to the lively atmosphere. The busking performances, mainly led by band clubs, provided another source of enjoyment for students visiting the central library plaza through stages that combined music and live instrument performances. In particular, passing students were drawn to the performances and stopped to watch, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere that enhanced the recruitment event and helped promote the clubs.

This year’s central club recruitment drive, hosted by the 40th Club Union “Four Seasons” attracted attention with an interactive event called ‘사계지옥’, which was inspired by the format of a popular streaming show among students. The program, which was designed to enable students to participate and enjoy themselves, as well as promote the club's publicity, increased the level of immersion in the recruitment process and encouraged active participation among many students.
The ‘사계지옥’ program encouraged students to visit club booths in various divisions, such as sports, arts, and volunteer work. At each booth, they took part in activities and collected stamps on the back of their tickets. Through these activities, students were able to experience the unique characteristics and atmosphere of each club firsthand.
The participation method was also simple and interesting. Students needed to collect six stamps from club booths and receive an additional stamp from the Club Union booth ‘Four Seasons’ to complete a total of seven stamps. They then followed the ‘Four Seasons’ Instagram account, filled out their information on the ticket, tore along the perforated line, and submitted it to the entry box to complete their participation. This structured participation system encouraged students to explore a variety of clubs and enhanced the overall experience of the program. A variety of prizes, including Bluetooth headsets, steamers, electric rice cookers, mood light alarm clocks, speakers, electric toasters, humidifiers, and multi-cookers, were prepared, which boosted student participation. Winners were instructed to bring their student ID or other forms of identification and visit the Club Union office to collect their prizes.
As its first official event, the 40th Club Association, Four Seasons, aimed to strengthen communication with students through a wide range of events and generous giveaways. By giving students the chance to directly participate in and experience the event, the association created an opportunity for them to develop a more active interest in campus life.

In addition, “Four Seasons” plans to introduce a program called “Four Seasons, One Leaf?” in the future. This program is a one-day experiential activity that allows students to directly experience clubs they are interested in, and participation will be available through prior registration. The program will feature introductions to individual clubs, Q&A sessions, and experiential activities. By offering opportunities for feedback and souvenirs to both participating students and clubs, it is expected to strengthen its participatory promotional impact.
Amid the lively atmosphere created by these participatory programs, we spoke with a student club member who directly operated a booth at the event. The following is an interview with Yang Seung-woo, a fifth-year student in the Department of Architecture.
Q: Please briefly introduce the club you are promoting.
A: The "AC" club, which stands for "All Season Cheongju" is an athletic club centered around seasonal activities. We play golf in the spring, summer, and fall, and enjoy snowboarding and skiing during the winter, so members can experience each season together. Beyond sports, we also organize various activities, including picnics with members in Cheongju.
Q: Is prior experience or skill in sports required to join?
A: Any student at our university can participate in club activities, regardless of whether they are currently enrolled or on a leave of absence. As long as you have the passion to enjoy sports together, you are welcome to apply, with no restrictions on age or the number of applicants.
Q: What are some of the club’s regular events?
A: After the semester ends, I usually organize MT trips with the members. During the semester, we meet once a week on Tuesdays and carry out regular activities. During the cherry blossom season, we also plan visits to Musimcheon together. For golf, we have access to a golf practice facility, where members can form teams and receive customized lessons. In particular, since I work as an instructor in skiing and snowboarding, I provide individual guidance to members when we go on a winter MT.
Q: What do you expect from new members through this year’s recruitment?
A: One of the advantages of our club is that members can participate as long as they are interested in at least one sport, such as skiing, snowboarding, or golf. In addition, our club is open to students of all years and ages. Since the club operates based on weekly participation and members’ willingness to engage, anyone with passion can easily adapt. We also organize a variety of social activities, making it an enjoyable and welcoming club.
As such, the AC sports club is open to all students at the university, regardless of their student ID number or year. The club looks forward to enthusiastic interest and applications, and hopes to welcome many students who are eager to create enjoyable memories and pursue their passions together.

The 2026 Central Student Union Recruitment Event served as a meaningful opportunity for students to actively participate and engage in promotional activities for club recruitment. It provided a space for students to connect with one another as members of the university community, while experiencing the lively atmosphere and sincerity that are difficult to convey online.
Face-to-face interactions at the event inspired excitement among students, encouraging them to take on new challenges and develop an interest in a wide range of activities. These experiences contribute to fostering a culture of voluntary participation and have a positive impact on overall student satisfaction with campus life.
It is hoped that the Central Student Union Recruitment Event will continue to grow as a platform for communication among students, enabling more individuals to discover their potential and gain valuable experiences that support their personal growth.
우리대학, 봄과 함께 동아리 가두모집 행사 진행

2025학년도 2학기가 마무리 되고 겨울의 추위가 지나가자 어느새 캠퍼스에는 따뜻한 봄이 찾아왔다. 3월의 시작과 함께 우리대학 중앙도서관 광장은 학생들의 밝은 웃음과 발걸음으로 붐볐으며, 지난 3월 17일에 2026학년도 중앙동아리 가두모집 행사가 진행되자 캠퍼스는 한층 더 생동감 넘치는 분위기를 보였다.
중앙동아리 가두모집은 새 학기를 맞이하여 신입생과 재학생들에게 다양한 동아리 활동을 소개하고 우리대학 학우들에게 학교생활을 더욱 풍요롭게 보낼 수 있는 경험의 도전을 제공하는 기회의 장이다. 가두모집 행사 현장에는 우리대학의 농구 동아리인 덩크, 댄스 동아리인 에이블, 봉사 동아리인 새마을 등 총 32개의 여러 분야 중앙 동아리 가두모집 부스를 마련하고 추가적으로 언론사, ROTC, 우리대학의 홍보대사 ‘청연’도 참여하여 홍보하는 시간을 가졌다.

가두모집 현장에서는 동아리 홍보 부스 운영 뿐만 아니라 버스킹 공연도 함께 진행되어 가두모집 행사에 활기를 더했다. 밴드 동아리를 중심으로 이루어진 버스킹은 음악과 악기 연주로 어우러진 무대를 통해 중앙도서관 광장을 찾은 학생들에게 또 다른 즐거움을 제공했다. 특히 지나가던 학생들도 자연스럽게 발걸음을 멈추고 공연을 관람하는 등의 모습을 통해 가두모집 행사가 동아리 홍보와 동시에 하나의 축제와 같은 분위기를 형성했다.

제40대 동아리연합회 ‘사계’가 주최한 올해 중앙동아리 가두모집은 학생들 사이에서 큰 인기를 끌었던 OTT 프로그램의 형식을 활용한 ‘사계지옥’이라는 참여형 이벤트 프로그램을 운영하여 눈길을 끌었다. 동아리 홍보 뿐만 아니라 학생들이 직접 참여하고 즐길 수 있도록 기획된 프로그램은 가두모집 현장의 몰입도를 높이며 많은 학생들의 적극적인 참여를 유도했다.
“사계지옥” 프로그램은 학생들이 체육, 예술, 봉사 등 분과별로 관심 있는 동아리 부스를 방문하여 각 동아리에서 준비한 체험 활동 및 이벤트에 참여한 뒤 도장을 받아 티켓 뒷면에 수집하는 방식으로 진행됐다. 각 부스마다 마련된 체험 요소를 통해 동아리의 특성과 분위기를 직접 느낄 수 있었다.
참여 방식 또한 간단하면서도 흥미롭게 구성됐다. 학생들은 6개의 동아리 분과 도장을 모으고 동아리연합회 ‘사계’ 부스에서 추가 도장을 받아 총 7개의 도장을 완성해야 했다, 이후 ‘사계’ 인스타그램 계정을 팔로우 하고, 티켓에 응모 정보를 작성한 뒤 절취선을 따라 분리하여 응모함에 제출하면 참여가 완료되는 방식으로 운영됐다. ‘사계’에서 준비한 단계적 참여 구조는 학생들이 다양한 동아리를 자연스럽게 경험할 수 있도록 유도하여 프로그램의 완성도를 높였다.
경품으로는 블루투스 헤드셋, 스티머, 전기밥솥, 무드등 알람시계, 스피커, 전기 토스터, 가습기, 멀티쿠커 등 학생들의 실생활에서 유용한 전자제품과 생활용품이 준비되어 참여 열기를 높였다. 당첨자들은 본인을 증명할 수 있는 학생증이나 신분증을 지참하여 동아리 연합회실에 방문하면 경품을 수령할 수 있도록 안내됐다.
제40대 동아리 연합회 ‘사계’가 주관하는 첫 공식 행사인 만큼 다양한 이벤트와 풍성한 경품 준비를 통해 학우들과의 상호소통을 강화하고자 했다. 이번 가두모집을 학생들이 직접 참여하고 체험하는 과정을 통해 보다 적극적으로 캠퍼스 활동에 관심을 가질 수 있는 계기를 마련하게 됐다.

또한 “사계”는 향후 ‘사계, 한 잎이란?’ 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다. 해당 프로그램은 관심 있는 동아리를 직접 경험해볼 수 있는 1일 체험형 활동으로 사전 신청을 통해 참여가 가능하다. 동아리별 소개와 질의응답, 체험 활동 등이 진행될 계획이며, 참여 학생과 동아리 모두에게 피드백의 기회와 기념품을 제공하여 참여형 홍보 효과를 강화할 것으로 기대된다.
이처럼 참여형 이벤트 프로그램 진행으로 활기를 띤 가두모집 현장에서 직접 부스를 운영한 동아리 학생의 이야기를 들어봤다. 다음은 건축학과 5학년 양승우 학생과의 인터뷰 내용이다.
Q: 홍보하고 있는 동아리에 대한 간단한 소개 부탁드린다. A: AC 동아리는 All season Cheongju라는 의미를 가진 운동 동아리다. 봄, 여름, 가을에는 골프를 진행하고, 겨울에는 스노우보드와 스키 스포츠 활동을 진행하면서 매 시즌을 함께 즐길 수 있는 동아리다. 또한 스포츠 활동 뿐만 아니라 청주시 내에서 부원들과 즐길 수 있는 피크닉 등 다양한 활동도 부가적으로 진행한다.
Q: 스포츠 활동에 경험이나 실력이 있어야만 가입할 수 있는가? A: 우리대학 학생이라면 재학생, 휴학생 관계없이 누구나 동아리 활동에 참여할 수 있다. 함께 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 열정만 있다면 지원 가능하고 나이와 인원 제한 없이 모집하고 있다.
Q: 동아리에서 정기적으로 활동하는 주요 행사가 있는가? A: 학기가 마무리 되고나서 부원들과의 MT를 정기적으로 계획하고 있다. 학기 중으로는 주 1회 화요일에 만나 정기적으로 활동을 진행하고, 벚꽃이 피는 시기에는 정기적으로 부원들과 함께 무심천 방문을 계획하고 있다. 골프는 골프레슨장이 마련되어 있어 팀을 구성하여 맞춤형으로 배울 수 있는 기회가 있다. 특히나 스키와 스노우보드는 강사로 일하고 있어서 겨울철 MT를 가게 됐을 때 한 분 한 분씩 알려드린다.
Q; 올해 가두모집을 통해 신입 부원들에게 기대하는 점은? A: 스키와 보드 그리고 골프 중 원하는 운동이 하나만 있더라도 참여할 수 있다는 점이 장점이다. 또한 우리 동아리는 학번과 나이에 관계없이 지원할 수 있다. 오로지 매주 활동 참여와 부원들의 의지만으로 진행하는 동아리이기에 열정만 있다면 누구든 쉽게 적응 가능하고, 다양한 친목 활동도 진행하고 있으니 즐거운 대학 생활을 경험할 수 있는 동아리가 될 것이다.
이처럼 우리대학 스포츠 동아리 AC가 학번과 학년에 관계없이 우리대학 학생이기만 한다면 참여할 수 있기에 많은 관심과 지원을 기다리고, 재밌는 추억과 열정을 쌓을 수 있는 많은 학생들을 기다리고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

2026학년도 중앙동아리 가두모집 행사는 동아리 부원을 모집하기 위한 홍보 활동과 함께 학생들이 직접 참여하고 소통하면서 우리대학 공동체의 일원 간의 연결감을 느낄 수 있는 의미있는 자리이다. 현장에서 이루어지는 대면 소통은 온라인으로는 전달되기에 어려운 생생한 분위기와 진정성을 전하고 학생들에게 새로운 도전의 계기와 다양한 활동에 대한 관심을 불러일으킨다. 이러한 경험은 자발적인 참여 문화를 확산시키고, 학교 생활의 만족도를 높이는 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 앞으로도 중앙동아리 가두모집 행사가 학생과 학생을 잇는 소통의 장으로서 지속적으로 발전하여 많은 학생들이 자신의 가능성을 발견하고 성장할 수 있는 경험의 기회로 자리 잡기를 기대한다. |
