The Special Humanities Week Lecture Series

Our university invited Jung-ha Hwang, secretary-general of the World Jikji Culture Association, to hold a lecture titled 'The Story of Jikji from the Humanities.'

Cheongju City discovered the Heungdeoksa Temple Site, which printed the world's best metal type in 1985, laying the foundation for the birth of a world record cultural heritage and a printing culture.

Through this Humanities Week event, we discuss the humanities background of Cheongju City's representative regional values, the recording of cultural heritage, and set the direction for future regional values.

In addition, it will contribute to the cultural development of the region and the lifelong education of residents through the provision and event of abundant information data from the central library.

Ju-hee Lee, head of the Central Library said, "This humanities weekly event will reflect on the humanities background of the creation of a world-class recording of the culture heritage in Cheongju, and will continue to operate creative and diverse programs to improve the humanities education of students and Cheongju citizens."
