Cheongju University-T'way Air, Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement

Cheongju University announced that it has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with T'way Air on the 16th.

On this day, through an industry-academic cooperation agreement, Cheongju University and T'way Air agreed to cooperate to effectively cultivate professionals in the aviation industry through exchange and cooperation of human and material resources and information.

In particular, Cheongju University can provide active support for students in the Faculty of Aeronautics to get a job at related companies. Also, it is possible to provide effective educational opportunities for students in connection with actual industrial sites.

T'way Air has opened the way for companies to cultivate customized talents that companies actually need and to secure talent. In fact, T'way Air decided to focus on training to cultivate aviation professionals who are faithfully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required by T'way Air in the industrial field.

Tae hyung Kim who is the head of the Faculty of Aviation said, "Exchange and cooperation with aviation companies is meaningful in that it not only provides practical and systematic educational opportunities to students in the Faculty of Aviation, but it also provides an opportunity to expand the employment opportunities of students through this as a foothold." Add, he said "Plans to expand industry-academia cooperation with several aviation companies in the future."

The Faculty of Aeronautics at Cheongju University began with the opening of the Aviation Operation Department major opened in 2012 and the Aeronautical Engineering major in 2013.

In 2019, the Aeronautical Faculty System was established by additionally opening the aviation service major and the unmanned aircraft engineering major.
