In 2020, NETFLIX is the hottest platform all around the world. Now, almost everyone know about what it is. Among the users, Netflix that own meaning often uses like a slang too. Then, What is Netflix? Let’s talk about it more deeply.


Netflix ,media-streaming and video-rental company, founded in 1997 by American entrepreneurs Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. It is also involved in the creation of original programming. Corporate headquarters are in Los Gatos, California.


They had an idea to rent DVDs by mail at first. In that time, most of people rent DVDs at the video rental store. So, that idea seemed quite progressive to people.


A year later, they made their own homepage (Netflix.com-the first DVD rental and sales site). They made their own service, and customers had continued to swell by the day.


They introduced a personalized movie using data, and lots of electronic brands allow to streaming Netflix on devices. Their membership program system keep drawing the people. Their ideas were innovative. Now, they expand globally and make their original feature film. They became popular video streaming service that leading the world in just 20 years.

Netflix was founded earlier than Google.

Netflix was almost purchased by Blockbuster for $50 Million in 2000

Netflix service has been banned in China, Syria, Iran and North Korea.

To this day, Netflix still have DVD rental service in U.S.

In Netflix, there is a job just watching videos, setting tags, and getting paid.





-Don’t look up

This is one of the biggest movies Netflix has ever assembled. The confirmed star-studded cast includes Jennifer Lawrence (“The Hunger Games”), Cate Blanchett (“Carol”), Leonardo DiCaprio (“Titanic”), Meryl Streep (“Mamma Mia”), Jonah Hill (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Timothée Chalamet (“Call Me By Your Name”), singer Ariana Grande, rapper Kid Cudi and Matthew Perry from “Friends,” among many others. The movie follows two astromoers who come up against a brick wall when trying to warn us all of a giant meteorite hurtling towards Earth.


-Kissing booth 3


Well that was quick! The Kissing Booth 2 dropped on Netflix in July and now we know for sure that the sequel, The Kissing Booth 3 will premiere next summer. It was revealed that the second film and the third film were shot at the same time in South Africa. This meant the cast and crew were mostly unaffected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has shut down the production of hundreds of films and TV shows.


-Chicken Run 2


Chicken Run is an upcoming stop motion animated film produced by Aardman Animations and exactly 20 years to the day since the original was released, we can confirm there will be a Chicken Run sequel coming to Netflix, production is expected to begin next year.


-Blonde


There is no doubt that actress Ana de Armas can transform for a role, as you can see above. According to Netflix, the movie will tell the private story of the world's most famous Marilyn Monroe and the film is a fictional portrait of the model. The interesting thing is Brad Pitt is one of the producers of the movie and Caspar Phillipson has been cast as The President, presumably John F Kennedy.


-Fear Street Trilogy


Fear Street is an upcoming American horror film directed by Leigh Janiak and based on the book series of the same name by R. L. Stine. It is set to become the first film in a trilogy that will be released one month after another on Netflix.
