1. What is the Zoom application?


The Zoom application was released for online conferences on April 21, 2011. The functions of the Zoom application include chatting, group meeting, voting, handing, screen sharing, and even remote control requests. When joining a meeting with the previous version, the microphone and camera were turned on at the same time, but with the updated version, you can view the camera screen that you appear on when entering the meeting and decide on/off the camera.


2. How to use the Zoom application?


In the case of meeting participants, if you go to the link uploaded by the meeting host, you can join the meeting without the meeting participation password. Another way to join is the meeting participation ID (PMI), that is, enter the 10 digit code and enter the password to enter without the entry link is possible.


Conference hosts can share their mobile phone or PC screen using the share button at the bottom of the center without any additional settings, and meeting participants must ask the host to ‘allow participants to share the screen' to share the screen of participants can do.

3. Points to note when using the Zoom application


When using the Zoom app, meeting participants can request remote control from the host.


At this time, the remote control request must not be accepted. If the meeting host accepts the remote control request, the host will be unable to use hand.


Participants can turn off their PC, they can freely view secret documents, and in serious cases they can be forced to watch their PCs format.
